if you need anything sent through msn im available most of the time,
im having the same connection issues as Giggles i cant join any games..
forwarded ports allowed it through firewall etc..

I was on shortys game last night for a while, he was afk.
It reminded me of what i missed about ds, standing around eldim
doing naff-all  .
There was 2 hkrw there who i chatted to for a bit, then i went on guild wars.
I have no problem connecting to the games apart from subbies.
I will still pop on though, and duelled my summons to keep my eye in

Dynamic IP changes are not updated automaticlly with DSG;
So if im not there to press the "update My IP" button when it changes,
noone can join until I get back to do so.
Perhaps in the next revision MasterR will have the app autoupdate
the host IP every 10 minutes or so.
It is nice to be back in game with people

I have been wanting to have the system check how long a game has been up and for the app to contact it every so often. I can add this into it so it automatically updates the IP say every 30 min or so.
The tray app currently crashes if the db connection is lost and you click any button so I am working around that first and I will not use:
ON Error Resume Next
Lol. I would actually rather fix it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes I have had it crash several times.
I took screenshots but never got around to contacting you.
Do you plan on starting an official debugging forum?
How do you prefer we report bugs/errors to you?

Yeah, MasterR I think you should start a forum too. For everything DS related. You probably have the most influence out of any of the remaining DS players. People listen to you. =)

The thing is I dont want the DSG to be about me or any clan I just want to play the game and have a good time with friends.
All bugs can be sent to admin@dsgamezone.com there are 2 others that will help manage it and if anyone else wants to ba part of the DSG let me know. A forum would be good to track the version changes, bug etc. I just dont have the time right now to do it.
I can set up a dsgamezone.com email address and we can go over what tasks people will be in charge of.
As far as the crashing is concerned it is due to the fact that the dsg game server is rebooted each night wich includes the SQL connectoin with the software. Once the connection is broken it will not re-establish it. I just about have that worked out but work is taking alot of my time over thenext couple of weeks.

I understand that you don't want it being about any one person/clan BUT it would be nice to have a new forum to just talk about DS stuff.. With active members that STILL play DS via DSG. A couple of my favorite free forums are phpBB or SMF.
There are also generated forums such as: InvisionFree, FreeForums, ProBoards and here are TONS of others. If time is a problem I'd be glad to help.

Yes Bladerunner! I like it. If you want to set one up for DSG then I will update the site links (add one rather) and post it on the home page news section page.
A good forum could only stand to get more attention from the media, search engine and people that still want to play.

Hey bud cool. It looks like people are already comming to it.
Before I like the DSG to it can you put a link back to the DSG. I don't know if it will let you edit the forum header but maybe put the DSG banner in there and darken the theme a bit to its not such a contrast.
I would suggets Mr GigGles to help out on the forums. He has been a Forum Leader at HKRW for over a hear and half and knows the boards quite well.

Ok, I changed the style. It's darker but it's still not as close to the DSG site as I'd like it to be. I'll continue looking for other styles. I put a link to the DSG site as the first forum with the  logo on it and a redirection to the DSG homepage. If GigGles would like to help he's more than welcome

Ah ya  That's great! I may not be able to update DSG today but I will get the link on there soon. Then in 2 or 3 weeks once we have a few more post I will do some Search Engine marketing to get it listed.
